Well I've been playing your Soundlab daily for a few months now, and I'd like to give you my official review/testimonial for you to hopefully post on your site:

The Music From Outer Space Soundlab is usually sold as a kit to be personally assembled. Accordingly, the most important aspect to comment on first is the craftsmanship. Simply put, no amateur or even any reasonably skilled craftsman could possibly build a better machine. The casing is minimal but absolutely solid. The knobs are firm but incredibly sensitive and the manual gate (which i'm sure I've pressed at least 10,000 times so far) hasn't shown the slightest sign of softening it's action. Furthermore, the aesthetic design is impeccable, this synth is just adorable to look at. The Soundlab template has some prominent limitations, but it's simplicity makes for an excellently direct hands-on experience. I don't have any interest in sequencing or even sampling this synth, because any sound you want can be easily found on the fly, and on the journey to the sweet spot you're always bound to find some interesting moments.

I was only turned on to Mike Lamay’s awesome work in the past few months by a mutual friend, but was immediately impressed with what he’s doing out of his house up in Ypsilanti, MI. Lamay builds his own synths using various kits and his own designs. I recently nabbed one of his Sound Labs and have been way impressed with the quality of the build and its versatility. Dude knows what he’s doing, that is for sure.
